E- Ramblings

So the movie that we made about a battle in the Civil War for Social Studies (where my brother basically did all the work except the acting and writing the script hahah), well my brother was so proud of the cinematography of it that apparently he's shown it to some of his friends D: which is extremely embarrassing. But it means that he still has it! I need to try and get it from him!

Also, And, Chey, and I made a movie for French where basically the same thing happened (my brother did essentially everything) and I have that on my comptuter. And from time to time I'll stumble on it and watch it and it's really funny because of how different we look and it was when Chey was dating Mot and we made a reference to it in the video and we thought we were so funny (but it wasn't actually funny, but now its funny looking back on it). 

And, remember that book called Revolution that I lent to you but then took it back like last summer because I thought I was going to read it on vacation but I never actually did? Well I finally finished it and I actually thought it was a really unique and interesting plot. And there is some historical accuracy to some of it which makes it more intriguing. The ending was a bit unexpected and strange but overall I liked it a lot. So if you want to borrow it for China, And, you can.

Also, last Tuesday I got back from Washington DC! Which was a lot of fun! I went with my Grandparents for a week and we did basically as much as possible in a week. We did a lot of sightseeing, visited many museums, saw The Lion King at the Kennedy Center (which was absolutely amazing and if you ever get the chance to go, you should!!!!!), went to an orchestral performance at the outdoor theater thing (which was pretty cool), etc.

Also, Fourth of July was yesterday and I had a ton of fun! I did a 5k with my mom, went to Meg's house and swam in her pool with And, and France, and played fooseball (and somehow I was on the winning team multiple times), went to my grandparents' house for dinner and hung out with my extended family (except my cousin that I'm closest to :/ ), and then we went down to Sheridan to watch the fireworks that they do right up close! It was super fun!

E- Yesterday in History...

Well actually, the history of my life, not the history of the world as I made this sound, but oh well.
Anyway, yesterday was my birthday, and as I was showering today, I was trying to think what I was doing around this time of the year for the past five years, so I thought I'd share it to reminisce over the past.

2009- We were wee little 6th graders. I was so freaking excited for middle school- not really sure why now that I think about it. For my birthday, I had a party where we all did various games and won tokens which we then got to exchange for candy. In other words, I copied Andrea's idea and used it for my party too. Sorry Andrea... But it was still fun!

2010- We were in 7th grade, and I remember very few specifics of my birthday this year except that Shannon M. gave me two balloons (which I thought made me the coolest person ever- haha) and a cookie/pie thing. I also remember that for my birthday party, I did a scavenger hunt thing at the mall (because Andrea did it and I always copied her in general) and then we slept over at my house and watched Hairspray I think. And remember how that one girl (I feel bad actually saying her name here ahah) that I'm friends with stole Andrea's (I think it was her's) candy and then this whole big thing happened where Andrea got mad and was gossiping about her on Andrea's ipod with someone else and then we went to my mom for help. And then when we woke up that same person had put candy in my hair so that was kinda annoying. I also distinctly remember Andrea pointing out that while I was sleeping, I straightened up my sleeping bag (no surprise there). I also remember this was the year of bath and body works... Need I say more?

2011- We were in 8th grade, and I remember Maddy made me cupcakes and I think Andrea did something too but I don't remember... On my birthday I remember wearing my blue/grey skirt with the black band, a white shirt, and my purple tie-dye-ish scarf (which I had just received). This year to celebrate I invited a handful of friends to spend the night at my Grandparents' beach house (Yuan couldn't come :( ). We roasted marshmallows, played mario cart, ad watched a movie (I can't remember which). I also remember Andrea and Anna would NOT stop playing that punching game where if you look at the other's hand they got to punch you or whatever ahah.

2012- 9th grade! We were freshman! Andrea made me snicker-doodles and I remember she made those "macaroons" for french with the snicker-doodles too ahahah. I feel like Yuan made me brownies too. But on the actual day of my birthday, I had to play my flute at graduation -_- That sucked. And it was raining and took forever. I also remember that I was dating that one guy at the time and he brought me a present while I was sitting with the band right before it started and it was awkward haha. Also, this year Andrea and Megan threw me a surprise birthday party at Richmond Beach!! That was a lot of fun and I totally wasn't expecting it! But I remember you guys kidnapped me and for the first like five mins of driving I was able to figure out where we were.

2013- 10th grade! Yuan no longer went to the same school as us :'(. Andrea and Megan made me lovely cupcakes. I remember it was a Monday and I reallllllly wanted to get my license as soon as possible, but all the Department of Licensing offices were closed on Mondays EXCEPT this one that was 25 mins away but I didn't care because I really wanted my licence. But when we got there I didn't have my social security number so we went through this whole process of calling my dad and grandparents to see if they could get it for us. But finally we got it but it ended up that we stayed past the closing time of the office but the people were super nice and let me stay.

2014- 11th grade! This year! We are juniors (super close to being seniors... what?!), and other than that nothing exciting is happening. Thanks for the cake pops Andrea and Yuan, and thanks for the sugar cookies Becca! Calc was fun today playing pitch/cards with Anna!

Sorry this post is long and also kinda self-centered, but I wanted to document what was happening around the time of my birthday the past couple years.

E- Graduating Seniors

Well, today was the last legit day of school for the seniors, and there are a couple of things I have thought a lot about today/lately.

Last year, I was really good friends with two seniors graduating and that was about it (in terms of who I was friends with from the senior class). I was sad when graduation came around but I knew I'd see them again and hang out, so it wasn't too bad.
But this year it's weird. I'm not as good of friends with any of the seniors. I mean I'm friends with a handful, but not particularly close. So its weird to think I probably will never see many of them again. Which almost makes me sadder than last year because its just weird to think that I will never see people I've known since 7th grade again. But then again I'm not even very close to them, but it still makes me sad.

Also, the thing I've thought a TON about the past week, is the fact that next year, it'll be us. We'll be the ones having our last legit day of high school. And that is SO crazy to think about. In a little more than a week, we will be seniors. 12th graders. Our last year of high school. In a little more than a week, every day of high school will be out last september 16 of high school, our last homecoming, and our last season of cross country (at least for Roxy and I). That is just freaking crazy!!
But on a happier note, it means that college is that much closer (which I'm very excited for)!

Anyway, those are just my thoughts for the day- weee.

E- Summer!!!!

Despite the fact that I didn't get into the summer programs that I applied to (sob), I'm looking forward to summer a lot (besides the fact that we won't have school)! And summer is so close I have lost like 85% of my effort to try anymore in school now... which is kinda bad... oops!

But anyway, here are my summer plans!

For a week right after school ends I am going to Washington DC with my grandma and grandpa! We are gonna tour The White House and see Congress in action which should be pretty cool! And I've never been there before so it should be super fun!

Then for three days I'm doing this program at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island called Career Explorations where I'll be exploring careers in baking/pastry arts/culinary arts and get to do some hands on baking and stuff which should be fun! Even though I'm not really looking into a career in that industry, I think it'll just be a fun thing to fly across the country by myself (which I've never done) and stay at a college in Rhode Island (where I've never been) for a couple days. So I'm looking forward to that!

Then I may or may not volunteer for this one random farm for a week with Roxy and Belle. I signed up for it but I'm wait listed so we'll see if I get un-waitlisted or not... I'm kinda doubtful but we shall see.

Then I'm going to apply to this one program called the Western Scholars Invitational. It's a three day program where you stay at Western Washington University and go to a couple mock classes and learn more about applying to colleges and do fun activities and such. It's possible I won't be accepted into it but I called and asked about how competitive it is and they said it's mostly competitive in terms of who they invite but not very competitive in terms of who they accept from those that apply, so I think my chances are decent (hopefully!). But to apply I have to write a one page paper (single spaced!) which kinda sucks but oh well.

Then I'm helping plan and put on the kids camp at my church which is four days in the evening, so that should be pretty fun too!

Then me and my mom are probably going to do this Oregon Private College Week where there is a specific list of ten or so colleges that have a specific program going on that week and you just drive around Oregon for a week and visit the various ones you are interested in. So that should be good!

Also, hopefully at some point in the summer Roxy, And, Belle, and I will go backpacking! But we haven't planned anything for that so I don't know yet.

And then CROSS COUNTRY starts!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!!!

Oh and I think Roxy, And, and I are going to do the same triathlon that we did last year again (but we haven't signed up for that yet). But it was really fun last year so I'm hoping we do it again! And then maybe this time Roxy can do the whole thing and not be injured!

So that's all that I have planned for summer so far, and I'm pretty excited!
Wow, why do my posts always get super long? Anyway, what are you guys doing this summer?????

E- So Many Thoughts...

So I just have many comments to make about previous posts.

Stella said that her music taste has gotten a lot better now. Honestly, mine has hardly changed at all. I still enjoy listening to a lot of my old favorite songs, and the music I listen to now is pretty similar. The only think that has changed is that I have slightly broadened my horizons of what music I'll listen to... but only slightly. For example I'll listen to some Of Monsters and Men, Florence and The Machine, Florrie, Mumford and Sons, and such. But that hardly counts as expanding my range of music.

And said, "Esee says that we have matured and stopped saying weird things, but don't forget, "oh bahh"". Good point, I do still say some weird things, but I definitely think we have improved loads. Remember, "yea homedawg", "oh snapdragons", and such? Remember the social studies video we made and And convinced us to yell "Yea homedawg" at the end super loud and it was soooo embarrassing when we presented the video to the class? Well my brother still has that video and apparently he has shown it to his friends on a couple occasions because he's really proud of the high cinematography quality of it- that's really embarrassing...

Also, Roxy is being a poop head and not posting!!! She even told me that she's gone on the blog and read some of the new posts. But for some reason she isn't posting *HINT HINT* and I gave her all the log in information so she has no excuse.

In response to Stella's thoughts on The Fault in our Stars, I agree with you so much!!! Like sure, I don't know what its like to have cancer and what mindset you might be in, but the way Augustus talks is totally unrealistic of a high schooler. But I also have other problems with the book besides that. I found it to just be a sappy love story about high schoolers that have cancer (I'm sorry if I sound insensitive towards cancer, that's not my intentions).

And, I agree with you so much about tumblr! When I first joined, I followed all the blogs I could possibly find, and then a while later I was like, shoot I follow waaaay too many people. So I spent a long time sorting through the blogs I followed to see if I actually liked them and then unfollowed or continued following accordingly. Also, And, what is your tumblr url? I forgot it... Something about macaroni and Urban Outfitters? Or did you change it?

Guys, I really like the dog of the day. They are always super cute!

Sorry I haven't posted much. I posted this super long post but then I felt bad and took it down. I've been meaning to post more, I just haven't had much to post about. Which is why it's funny how And posted a list of her pet peeves because I was literally thinking today that I should start keeping track of my pet peeves and that it would be something I could post about on this. So maybe once I have a decent list, I'll post mine too.

Stella, I enjoy watching Youtubers sometimes too! I generally prefer the challenge videos and British Youtubers. Watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXb8iOYUGx8 I was almost crying of laughter from it.

Also, I have a comment about one of the things Stella said but this post is getting super long so I'll say it in a different post later. Sorry for how long this is! I've just had many things to say.

E- Excessive Organization

So, I've realized my need to be organized/I-don't-know-what-else-to-call-it is getting a bit excessive. Last night, I stayed up an hour later than I intended because I was organizing my closet, so I ended up going to sleep at 12:30 or so. And knowing me and how little sleep I get, I could have used the extra hour. But instead I organized my closet- like who does that?? Me. But hey, I enjoyed it and it was very satisfying afterwards so that's good right?
Another example is when I was getting myself a snack after school, and I decided to get myself crackers and cheese. And there's that whole problem of not wanting way more crackers than cheese and vice versa. But you can't get the same number of crackers as cheese because I use 2/3 of a slice of cheese per cracker. So I literally stood there and did the math so I would have the exact right number of crackers to go with my slices of cheese. I dunno about you but that seems a bit excessive. And it's only a snack! It's literally no big deal, but I make it one ahaha.
But lets be honest, does any of this come as a surprise to you? My guess is no ahah.
I'm so weird...

E- WOW! Thanks to S, I just found this blog again!

Ahaha, wow. Long time no see to this blog. I had totally forgotten about it! It's so amusing to look back and read about all the things we were doing in middle school, and all the things we were obsessed with and the way that we typed/talked (actually that was mostly me, not the others). But wow, this blog is amazing. We can NEVER delete any of the old posts. It'll be fun to come back and look at them like I'm doing right now.
I feel like so much has changed since this blog was active but really, not actually that much. We are just more mature now (thank goodness for that) and in high school and Stella is at a different school than the rest of us.
Guys... I don't know how practical this would be or even if the rest of us will catch on, but I actually think it would be so cool to start posting on this blog again! Then we could see how things have changed and it would be a way to keep in better touch with Stella. Just a thought though. But I'm gonna try to talk individually to everyone about it. It could be fun!!
Thanks again Stella for reminding me about this blog, because I had totally forgotten about it and probably would have never remembered it if it wasn't for you!

E-sports

The KMS sports teams have been underrated this year but this last cross country meet ruined that streak :/ at least it didn't hav to do with me. The coach said that the girls probably got first but I'm thinking that the guys got 3rd bu idk. All I know is that they DIDN'T get first :(. Also I hated the most recent meet. I threw up 5 times according to And. She was "so kind" and counted for me. It didn't help. Everone saw and it was embarrassing!!! And the extremely stupid thing is I don't think I tried any harder than normal..... It was weird!!
Oh well....

E-finally

I'm finally able to post. Sorry I haven't posted but I didn't think I could on my iPod but I found I can :). So here I am finally posting.

Being the oldest of *cereal* (I'm not saying the real name of the school but the nickname is fitting) is really cool. I feel all old and powerful. Except the 7th graders make me feel short because hey are about the same hight as me. And I remember back last year when all then8th graders seemed really big. It's no fair. But I am 5 feet 3 inches so that's good!!!

Right now I'm procrastinating (nothing new with that, hehe) on putting my completed math homework away and starting working on my social studies work so I'm ahead in class and I'll havenless for the weekend.

Random funny story- in wind ensemble someone kept on farting. And they were really strong farts.bobberz noticed the smell too and thought it was horrible. We think it was this girl, Immature. Any way the door to the band room was open so that helped jut once the smell was gone, she farted again. It was really annoying!!! Immature must have a lot of beans for lunch, haha.

Ooh Speaking of beans, my dad taught me this one really funny rhyme thing and it goes,

Isn't that funny/awesome?? My mom hates it.

But, i'm not critizing the fact that And and Stella are competing.
No offense, but I think that Stella will win but you never know. Is the competition for the month of june?

also, if Roxy got so she posted once a day, it would seem like she wasn't posting much because we post A LOT each day even though back in May, once a day was kind of a lot.

E- Creativity is lacking

Well, as i'm sure Stella and And (and Roxy once she starts posting often) agree that it can be kind of hard to come up with new titles that haven't been repeated and still relate to what you are posting. Well, i find it especially hard because i just guess i'm not creative like that. But i guess that's just part of the fun of having a blog. But still, it is kind of hard.

Wow, that's a short post. But now i don't really care the length, but thx Stella for making some of your posts longer.

i'm sry i've been criticizing a lot of things lately. i guess i just want our blog to look good and stuff but in reality that's not going to happen, so i am going to attempt to stop criticizing things. But thank u Stella for doing what i asked but i don't really care anymore about short posts and random stuff like that.
so SRY about all that.
Also, i would just like everyone who is reading this to know that i am such a hippo (hypocrite). I often say things that I do too so sry about that too.

R & E- Roxy's first post

This is my (Roxy's) first post. YAY, finally. I think that we should be allowed to put any type of post on, unless its super short and stupid. ( --Cough, Cough-- spungebob and other random ones) It is really loud in here right now. Esee is dictating her homework to Adida. Elise just freaked out because MR. Wilmart walked in. I have to put together my practice calendar now. Esee is texting. tsk tsk.

I do too have an excuse. I was texting my MOM about how i would get home. that's important or else i would be ditched at skool and dat would be boring and bad.

E- MY EXTREME SKILLAGE, but then it dies off :/

ok, so I was bored and i needed to talk to Stella about a couple of things and i didn't really feel like waiting until school, so I called her. We talked for a bit but then she claimed she had to go. I didn't want her to go because I was (and still am) bored and I didn't feel like doing my math hw. So when Stella said, "i have to go" (the dreaded 4 word phrase in a phone convo, haha) i kept on saying, "resist the urge" over and over. In another phone conversation i had with Stella, she said the dreaded 4 word phrase (dare i mention it, lolz) and i kept on saying, "resist the urge" and similar stuff like dat. and it WORKED. Stella ended up staying on the phone for a little while longer. that is a great example of my extreme skillage. but today, i kept on saying "resist the urge" and it kinda worked, she stayed on the phone, but she was playing the piano, which was fine with me. but after a while, humming loudly and "la-di-dum"ing in tune to her song got a little hard and tiring. and then she repeated the 4 word phrase and ACTUALLY (as she said) "ACCIDENTALLY PUSHED THE BUTTON". sigh. I guess my extreme skillage can only last so long so it can "recharge" for another, important situation.

Oh by the way. it wasn't that dramatic. but if i told you it less dramatic, you would fall asleep, or something like dat cuz it's not a very interesting story, tehehe.

E- Concert

I don't want to go to the concert. It will be really boring and i'll have to miss my cousin's ballet. I'm not into ballet, but i like going to ones that my cousin is in. and i told Mr. Willmart that I couldn't go to the concert but he said I had to go unless i wanted to fail the class because the concert is worth 1/2 ur grade. i personally think that is unfair because well, i just do. the only way i could get out of the concert is if i wuz sick or i had a family emergency, OR i told him 2 weeks ahead of time and it was a reasonable excuse, or what he thought was reasonable. and that's totally not fair because my mom said i could go to the ballet a while ago because she didn't know we had the concert. She just found out about the concert yesterday and the concert is today :(

so that's my saddness of the day, kinda. haha

E- And, ur in trouble

Well, And ur not actually in trouble but yes, we do have a french test. Actually we have 3, i think. Or maybe she just put all the stuff into one test. I dunno. But i SWEAR that we are going to have a test so u should probably study And.

oh and And and Stella, the i hate it 2 when ppl act like ur younger than u actually r *cough* Evvi *cough*. it's totally annoying. like when i chat with this one person *cough* Evvi *cough*, who is only 1 yr older than me. He acts like 1 yr, is like a 5 yr difference and it's totally annoying!!!!!

WOAH, i posted 3 times in like 15 min. OH CRAP. I took 15 min posting. and it wuz only supposed to last like 5 cuz i still have hw. Crap. well i gtg

E- I'M SRY AND!!!!

i'm really sry And that i didn't end up posting last night. I wuz working on my hw like until 11:30. (and I actually wasn't procrastinating, unless u count txting, but I don't think dat counts) but i'm really sry cuz i said I would but I didn't. E- wow

WOW. THis blog has, amazingly, lasted a total of.................. 19 days. and here i thought i thought it would only last a week. Well that just roves not to listen to me.
YAY. It's june!!!!!!!! which means dat my birthday is really soon. As of today it's in 16 days. do the math. that mean's my b-day is on the 17th of june. which means I will FINALLY be a teenager. and I will know everything (inside joke). Almost everyone else is already 13 so i feel very young, but oh well. Not like I can help it or anything.

I have tons of homework because I didn't do it all, over the weekend. I would've but I was at my grandparent's beach house, against my own free will. But on the bright side, i'm not going next weekend so I can actually have fun. I'm not saying i didn't have fun this weekend, i did cuz my cousin Claira was there. But i would've rather stayed home. I prefer home most of the time.

E- Just FYI

Just fyi, the whole thing about kicking And off wasn't real. We weren't actually going to kick her off. we were just trying to pressure her into actually contributing to this. and anyway, the blog is by 4 friends and it just works better to have And in it.
So the poll was just pointless and just to make And write. And golly gee, it worked. She has posted like, 5 times or something. So we r so skilled!!!!

Well we now have a new name, in case you didn't notice. Now it is called Randestese because Roxy has joined our blog and we have everyone's name who is in it, in the name. We have decided not to change the url though, because it would be too complicated to tell all of the people who already know about our blog, to say that the url changed.

Note to Roxy- I'll just tell you this now instead of making you read all the posts (but I think you should anyways). When you make a new post, for you, you would make the title, "R-" and then whatever you want it to be about, then the readers (which isn't very many, haha) can tell who wrote it. Also, for the "labels for this post" (you will know what I am talking about when you click new post), you should just do "R" so then on the labels section to the right, you can see how many posts, everyone has made.
