Whoops

I kind of realized that I forgot about the blog a few minutes ago.  I also just figured out my job shadow (for the most part)!! I know that I am a procrastinator, but it wasn't intentional.  I am going to do this lady that I babysit for.  She is a nurse, so I will have to sign some waver or something, but whatever.  I really hope that it works!! I emailed *teacher* just in case though.  I think that she thinks that I am very lame at the moment.  She totally dissed our map, and basically wanted us to start all over again, and she got mad-ish at me when I didn't have an application.  :(  Oh well. 
I have been having short term meamory loss lately and its kind of funny.  It only seems to happen with social studies projects and papers.  Mr. Ant asked me if we won our debate today and I said that we did.  Then he asked me what our topic was, and I had no idea!! I had to ask Belle, and then I felt stupid.  I also forgot what my essay was on until yesterday.  Esee had asked me and I had no clue!! Its kind of wierd, but its funny.

R - Noveling

November is National Novel Writing Month, so Belle and I were going to write novels.  Actually, I think that And was to, but she hasn't so far, I think.  We are/were doing the NaNoWriMo Young Writers Program, which lets you set your own word-count goal.  However, the real goal is 50,000 words.  Belle decided to stop at 22,00 or so (she kinda quit :(((((((( ).  I totally get why though.  Now I'm at 40,924 words and 5,801 words behind.  I wish I could get some ideas to get my book going.  I guess I should have done that a long time ago, but I haven't really gotten to my climax yet. I'm getting there, but I have like 30,000 words of what my mom calls "character developement".  Ick.  I would never read a book where the whole thing is character developement. (or at least I would never like a book like that)
So my book is one of those books where the chapters alternate characters.  Its all in third person because I think that writing in first person is harder.  The problem with this is that I've suddenly liked writing from one of my characters perspectives a lot more than the other, so I have to bring her back into the story by forcing out some ideas.
I am going to end up staying up till midnight a lot so I can get this done.  Then my dad can yell at me for staying up too late.  Big whoop.
oh well.

R-Posting

This post is mostly to get my post number up to Esee's post number and try and get her to be competitive and post more.  Though really I should be doing that for And becuase she hasn't posted since June 11!!!! Thats over 3 months ago!!! To be precise, that is 111days!!!!

Are you guys ready for Halloween to get here? I am except for not really becuase I haven't decided what I'm going to be yet.  But I still wish it were Halloween. That was random. 

My mom and brother M are playing chess and I don't like chess so I am very bored.

We have so much homework this weekend!!!  Maybe I just didn't do enough during the week.  But thats because I didn't have time.

We have English, Math, Science (2 things!), Social Studies, and French.  Thats everything possible!! (Esee and i have to practice for band)

R-First Meet!!!!!!!!!

Today we had our first cross-country meet! Only Stella and I ran in it.  Esee, and And didn't have enough practices and Belle was sick.I feel so bad for Belle!!!!!!!!! She must be so sad.  At least she gets to stay home tomorrow.  I was sick during the meet (still! won't it ever go away?!?!) and Stella's ankle hurt.  :(... I don't think either of us was very happy afterward.  I got 5th and I don't remeber was Stella got.  She can tell you.  My stomach hurts super bad because of the race.  Not sure why.  At least tomorrow should be an easy day.  I almost have no homework.  I have to practice oboe and thats it. I haven't been able to ask about a Facebook yet.  :( Unfortunately, since Belle won't be at school tomorrow, I won't be able to tell her.  She is being mean.  Humph.  I wish it were clear so that I could see the moon.   I am soooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired.  I should email you guy's "Becca's Diary".  It is sooooooooooooooooo funny!! But not true. Hopefully Belle will keep adding to it.

R-School

I guess I should be happy...  Its not raining...  But I'm not happy... Summer is over... School starts today... Waking up early starts tomorrow... I won't be able to walk with And because of zero period... and also...

Homework starts tonight... The library isn't open yet...  My summer homework is bad... My cookies won't be good cause I read the recipe wrong... I can't go to Belle's 13th birthday party, hopefully I can come to Stella's.

R-The last day of summer :(

Its raining on the last day of summer!!! Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! (isn't this how I started my last post too?  Oh well.) Its not too cold for ice cream!! I had oreo and chocolate chip cookie dough.  I also made brownies when we got home.

I wish school was for one day and the rest of the year was break.   Getting ready to go to school is fun, but then actually going to school can get tiresome.   Or maybe we could just go to school and not have to do any work.  That would be better.  Also, school would have to be like 4 or 5 hours, not 6.

I had my first babysitting job today.  I worked four hours.  I babysat a three year old who lives down the street (well, on the next block, but I basically live on the corner so...ya).   Esee, you said you might be doing this soon...

I hope I don't bomb my summer homework.  That would be horrible.  I worked a long time on it.  Even though Esee helped me a little.  Hopefully Mrs. Dryden doesn't give as much homework as she's supposed too.  I really don't want to do more of the same stuff that we did this summer.

Oh yeah, I'm sad because I can't go to Belle's birthday party because we're going backpacking.  Hopefully it won't rain for that too. It did last year and we canceled our trip.  We probably won't cancel this year though because we get to stay in these neat shelter things instead of a tent.  And we had to get a permit to go on this trip.

I am not looking forword to soccer practice.  It will be cold.  They should not be allowed to have soccer practice on the last day of summer.  They can have it on the first day of school instead.   Unfortunately, 3 people on our team don't go to the same school as me, so they would have to have practice on the last day of summer.  I guess that its okay that its raining because then at least I don't miss anything exciting by going to soccer practice.  Also, I won't be really hot.  I still don't want to go though. 

Stella, why were you on a boat??

I am getting closer to finishing my essay.  I wonder how hard she will grade them?  Hopefully not too hard because I don't think mine's as good as it could be 'cause I out of practice.

R-Swimming

Yesterday was really fun because we went swimming with my neighbor and she showed us this really awesome beach at Magnusun Park where there aren't any lifeguards.  It was really cool because it dropped off really quickly so you could only wade out like five feet.  Also, we sas ths police boat go SUPER fast and that was cool.  Skye, who normally won't go in the water actually swam by herself a few times after we threw the ball in for her once or twice.   We had to call her back because we didn't know ho strong she was and didn't want to go save her.  Hee hee.  It was actually really funny.  Matt wants me to say that he got a really cool rock.  We are going again today, but bringing goggles so that we can search for stuff on the bottom. Speaking of stuff on the bottom of a lake, I never found my watch.  I also got my another sun burn last weekend when we went rafting.  Now my shoulders are really tan, and a little bit red. I am still working on my essay because I am not as eficient or responsible as Stella.  I guess I should get back to working on it.

R - Skye

We are dog sitting now!! Her name is Skye, she is nine years old and very sweet. We got her last night. She loves to play fetch and when she is outside it seems that is all she can think about. Right now I think she is trying to fall back asleep, but I can't tell.
Saturday was our Regatta (race) for crew. The first novice girls 8+ boat won their race by 31 seconds and the other class won their race too. BTW: they raced at 6:20am. The 4+ boat won their race too. The same people were in the four who were in the eight. They each got two medals! Our race went well. I was in an eight, but we weren't going against all people our own age. There was an adult boat (like my Mom's age) and a boat of twenty or so year olds, the third boat was just like us. We raced really well and would have been first except that our cox forgot to steer and we ended up starting in lane 1 and ending in lane 3. The bad part about this was that we cut off another boat (the adult boat) and so we tied for second instead.

R - Annoying

This week is kinda wierd for me. I have crew, which starts at 7:30 and ends at 9:30, and I also am helping out with a camp at church, where I have to be at 8:50. So on Sunday I told the camp people that I would have to be an hour late on Monday. Then they came to talk to me then about how late I would be for the rest of the days. I saidi about half and hour, assuming crew would let me out early. So when I got to crew this morning I asked them if I could leave about 20 minutes early and they said yes. I was going to call home and say that, but I couldn't figure out how to make the phone work, so I didn't call. That meant I was late for camp. The camp planner people weren't very happy about this. She was actually really mad ( I think, I'm not quite sure). But she shouldn't be that mad because I told them at the beginning, like the very, very beginning, before camp had even started that I would have to be late. Then she put me in a group with only one other Youth Assistant (most of the other groups have three or four youth assistants). That means that the girl I'm working with has to be super busy, which isn't fair to her and its her first year. So they really messed up with setting up the groups and YA's pairing. And I feel like its all my fault, even though I did what I could. Its all really wearing on my nerves, even though its only Tuesday. This is not a good week so far.

Also, on a completely different note, this is the 100th post on the blog!! YAY!! (actually, thats why I posted, so we can get over 100 posts.

R - Stealing

I am upset about why kenny keeps stealing all this stuff. I wish she would just buy her own stuff or live with out it. Also, i kinda wish she was better at stealing and so it wasn't sooo obvious.
i feel bad for her and for And. Unfortunately, since kennys leaving on wednesday, theres not much you can do to punish her. This is a bad ending to the school year...

At Esee's birthday party (it was lots of fun, thanks for inviting me), Stella and I wrote a song which is called "my least favorite things". Unfortunately, I think that I left the paper that it was on folded up at Esee's house. So if she finds it, she should type it up and put it in the songs and stories section of this blog. Then she should give me or Stella the original.
I am so excited for the last day of school is coming closer!! Summer will, hopefully, be so much fun!!

R-Top Tens and Soccer Practice

I can't think of the 10th top ten for the most important events in my life. It's really bigging me 'cause I can't even think of something to make up. I also have soccer practice in like 15 minutes so I'm running out of time. One thing that does make me happy is not having my laptop any more. This means that my backpack is super light!! YAY!!!
Okay back to work.

R-Today

I am at the UW injury prevention center right now. It is very quiet in here. We are waiting for the people tonget back from lunch. For a while, the people next to us looked funny because they were both texting. They also look really alike.

but it us really humid right now. My shoes are green from mowing the lawn yesterday.
For lunch, I had two doughts and half a bagel.
The ceiling is really high in here.
Now I am at home. It is 4:18. Now I also have a simsuit and I can take the float test for crew.
Hopefully this isn't one of those bad posts. Sorry if it is. Just tell me and then I will not do another post like it.

Stella that is a really awesome story, btw. Its also hilarious!! I'm happy that we have tomorrow off of school...

R-Silent Reading

I have nothing to do. This is because I turned my book in to the library and have no homework that I can do. Except for math, but that is a big packet that I will do over the weekend. For a while Esee let me read her book, but then she wanted to read it so I let her. Now I am waiting for 5th period to start. Leeeeeelah's computer keeps making noises so i think that she is playing a game. i went on Mrs. Storm's blog. It is pretty cool. Jax is so cute!!

i am very excited for 5th period because esee said that they watched the Incredibles in band yesterday and that is what I have next. yay!! Unlike And, I am happy. Only 8 more minutes.

R-English etc

English is kinda boring. I have a loaner laptop. I can't figure out what to put down for moments of my life. And just added a really funny post and Belle read it aloud. M&M is mad about the nickname Madeye. Andrea is going to take a nap. She looks really funny. Sorry this is short.

This is cool!! I posted something with esee during tutorial too. But its not showing up. I will try to add something almost every day. I like the polls to. We should add some more.
The track meet went okay. I think that kellogg lost though. I got second last in the mile and the 4 x 400 team lost. It was fun. See y'all tommarrow.
